Ghent, Belgium — 5 September 2025 — Dalton, a Belgian startup turning static websites into self-improving growth engines, today announced it has raised a €1M pre-seed round from leading technology founders. Most company websites remain static billboards—unmeasured, unpersonalized, and resistant to change—despite digital advertising becoming highly data-driven. Major enterprises like Amazon and Booking conduct thousands of annual experiments to increase visitor revenue, yet most organizations lack the resources, infrastructure, or traffic volume for comparable testing.

Dalton addresses this gap by deploying a specialized AI agent focused on maximizing conversion rates. The system continuously evaluates websites, identifies optimization opportunities, initiates experiments, and customizes experiences based on visitor segments. Distinguishing itself from conventional A/B testing, Dalton employs sophisticated algorithms and personalization techniques to accelerate improvements while eliminating needs for developer or design intervention.

"One of our customers increased conversions by 40% in just weeks—fully automated," shared Vincent Declercq, co-founder and CEO. "Company websites should be as smart and dynamic as digital ads. Dalton acts like a digital worker obsessed with turning more visitors into customers—24/7."

Robin Wauters, founding member of Syndicate One, noted: "Dalton demonstrates a well-defined problem, impressive early traction, and a highly capable, fast-acting team."

Louis Jonckheere, founder of Wintercircus and Dalton backer, observed: "These founders are building smart and delivering tangible results for real customers."
