Bella Coterie Increased Conversions by 10.5% in 3 Months

CRO used to be off the table for Bella Coterie. With Dalton it became part of how the site works, a 10.5% conversion lift and a 2,600% return on cost.

“Before Dalton, CRO was just not realistic or worth our time and money. Now it's just part of how the site works.”

The Challenge

Bella Coterie sells premium bamboo viscose sheets for hot sleepers. They spend heavily on Meta ads, driving 7,000 monthly sessions. They constantly test their ad campaigns: new hooks, different benefits, varied angles.

But their product pages weren't being tested at all. Traditional A/B testing doesn't make sense, the investment-to-result ratio didn't work at their scale because of the expertise, development resources, and traffic required.

There was another problem: every ad campaign landed on the same generic product page. Someone clicking a "cooling sheets for summer" ad saw the identical page as someone clicking an "eco-friendly bamboo" ad. The message broke the moment they clicked through.

The Solution

Bella Coterie implemented Dalton in June 2025. Setup took an afternoon. What happened next would have been impossible with traditional testing.

AI generates the variants, you approve what ships

Instead of manually inventing and developing test variations, Dalton's AI generated multiple on-brand options for each element:

  • Product title variations emphasizing different benefits
  • CTA copy testing urgency vs. value messaging
  • Trust badge configurations and placement options
  • Social proof and review highlight variations
  • Urgency alert positioning and copy

Ray reviewed and approved variants in-platform. The ones that felt off-brand didn't ship. The ones that looked promising went live immediately.

"Think of it like having a CRO team generate ideas overnight, then you pick the best ones in the morning. Except it happens continuously."

Multi-armed bandit testing = results in days, not months

Here's where Dalton breaks the traditional model:

  • All 20+ experiments run simultaneously from day one
  • The system learns from every visitor, automatically sending more traffic to winning variants
  • No waiting 6-8 weeks for statistical significance on individual tests
  • Wins compound as better-performing variations get more exposure

At 7,000 monthly sessions, this approach delivered meaningful results within weeks. Traditional A/B testing would still be waiting for the first test to conclude.

The Results

Three months in, Bella Coterie's product page conversion climbed from 8.53% to 9.42%, a 10.5% lift that meant 62 extra orders a month and €78,000 in additional annual revenue. Same Meta ad spend, same traffic, zero developer hours.
